This is a commission that I did for my buddy Jason. Mixed media on watercolor paper. I rarely have the time to do art other than for the comic, but this was a fun little side project.
We've posted a special April Fool's episode of Registered Weapon. This is supposed to be crappy, so please be kind. I've included the penciled version to show you that it might have been able to be good at one point.
Hey everyone. Haven't really had time to post. All my free time is devoted to this webcomic I'm working on (which will be out soon enough as soon as I get enough of them done). So here's another sneak peek at some pencils for the newest page. Love it bitches!
Here are the pages for what would have been the second issue of Have Fun In Hell. The story is about the Psysquatch and the Dinosaur Rapeist. Not sure if this will ever see the light of day other than here.
Here's an almost totally finished page for a pitch to Zuda. This story isn't what we're going with but here it is in all of it's glory with art and color by me. Worship me for I am your GOD!
Here are some of the initial character sketches for Registered Weapon. A web comic currently in development. Some of the characters have gone through some revisions, but I thought it would be fun to put up the initial designs.
Born in the same backwater town as the “world-renowned rock band” Live, Dave Lentz graduated from The Art Institute of York in 2005. A lifelong comic fan, he decided to try his hand in self-publishing. After no critical acclaim for his comic Have Fun In Hell, he decided to try his luck in the world of freelance. He then partnered with Gardner Linn & Chris Thorn to create Registered Weapon. Dave is the creator of 72 kinds of awesome and holds the Guinness World Record in that category. He lives in York, PA with his like-minded people-hating wife and his hellhound dog. He still wants a bowel disruptor for X-Mas but will have to make do with karate-chopping people in the colon. Be afraid.
